Baby cookies

I did  this recipe except instead of banana I used a 4 oz jar of sweet carrots. She loved them. However I think next time we will  double the carrots because I didn't think you could taste them. I cooked these a total of 31 minutes.

I also made this cookie here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/274860383487749416/

With a jar of baby apples, again 4 oz. and used apple juice. Had a little more flavor but again I think I will double the apples to 8 oz. She loves her cookies and it didn't cost me anything because I already had everything. I cooked these a total of 15 minutes. They were more flat since I used a cutter and easier for her to eat.

Baby snacks are expensive. I paid over $2 for each container I got the other day so I figured why not try it myself. One of the above recipes does call for cinnamon and I did skip that since she is still little and may have a reaction.

Have fun baking and let me know how it turns out.

Cilantro skillet chicken breast

I got a lot of cilantro seeds for free a while back and its time to cook with them. This was a hit the other night

2 large chicken breast
Fresh cilantro cut up
Garlic salt
Lemon pepper seasoning
Butter

Put butter in skillet, add chicken. Dice up cilantro, add to pan. Then add the garlic salt, and lemon pepper seasoning. It  was so juicy and tasted delicious. I did it over white rice and gravy.

Mix it all together and made about 3 big glasses of a delicious drink
